Kim Jong Il dead

You've probably heard that North Korea's leader Kim Jong-il died from a heart attack. And now his son Kim Jong-un is described as the "Great Successor". Needless to say it's been a bad year for dictators. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how things turns out whit his son.

Look at the reaction to his death. Perhaps the weeping is mandatory?

  1. It has been a pretty bad year for dictators ain't it? Still, at least he died instead of being deposed/killed.

    As far as we know.

  5. Absolutely mandatory. Of course, if you've enslaved a people and created generations of malnourished workers, they may not even fully know WHY they're crying...

  6. "Needless to say it's been a bad year for dictators". True, so true. If I were a dictator, I'd be on my watch.

  8. I have to agree with the above, some of that has to be staged.

  9. Grief? Maybe.. dread.. for what's to come?

  10. It seems if you're a music star you die at 27...but for brutal dictators it's 69...Gadaffi, Saddam, Kim Jong all 69

  22. I'm pretty sure the weeping is infact mandatory. Those who don't weep probably get to go to the N.Koreans version of Gulags.

  23. I'm just curious of what will happen to North Korea under the leadership of his even more so under-qualified 20 something year old son.

    SvaraRadera
  24. That weeping is fake. People who are actually grieving don't behave that way.

    SvaraRadera
  25. I kinda think he has been dead for awhile, and they were just using impersonators till his son was old enough to take the reigns.

    SvaraRadera
  26. Was actually so shocked, wonder what will happen now!
